Local Heroes

A long time ago there was an awful monster chewing through the cosmos, wrecking every planet it touched. A great alliance of spacefaring beings chased it to a run-down arm of the Milky Way Galaxy, shot it full of holes, and stuffed it in a black hole. And then they left it there to wait out the course of the universe: congealed, furious, and it turns out occasionally leaking.

But hey no worries we can handle it.

Local Heroes is a one-shot RPG where the players (who are playing as themselves) take on a shape changing monster in their own neighborhood. Essentially: a setup for a big raucous battle scene, but with more problem solving than swordplay cause honestly we are not very  good at that any more (if you are good at swordplay there's a part on your character sheet where you can write it down don't worry).

This game is for everyone who ever wondered if they could make it in a real adventure.

A 16 page game including: simple rules, 10 marvelous weapons, 10 monsters, a mini-tower-dungeon,  and the possibility that all of this is actually for real.

I do subscriber requested spot art and sometimes I will send you stuff in the mail.
